Acclaimed NY Times best-selling author and journalist Paul Tough speaks on his new book, The Years that Matter Most: how college makes or breaks us. He is also the author of Helping Children Succeed: What Works and Why, and Whatever It Takes: Geoffrey Canada’s Quest to Change Harlem and America. He is a contributing writer to The New York Times Magazine, where he has written at length on education, poverty and politics, and his work has been published in the New Yorker, the Atlantic, GQ, and Esquire.
