Congratulations to Yale sophomore Serena Puang for her recent article, “Living With Aphantasia, the Inability to Make Mental Images,” being published in the New York Times. Originally written for Professor Jane Karr’s seminar, Writing on the Education Beat, the article explores aphantasia, or the inability to conjure mental images, in an educational environment.
