The Education Studies (non-intensive) Certificate offers Yale students a flexible, coursework-focused track to develop expertise in education theory and research, policy and practice. Students will choose one Certificate pathway: either the Scholars Intensive, requiring an application, or the Certificate.

Enrolling in the Education Studies Certificate
- Register for EDST 110
- Sign up for the Education Studies Certificate. The Certificate will then be added to the YC Degree Audit.
- The declaration form for a certificate must be submitted no later than the due date for course schedules in the student’s final term of Yale enrollment.
Additional Details
- For the EDST Certificate, EDST 110 must be taken for a grade. One EDST course may be taken Credit/D/Fail and counted for the Certificate.
