The Education Studies (non-intensive) Certificate offers Yale students a flexible, coursework-focused pathway to develop expertise in education theory and research, policy and practice.

Certificate Requirements

5 course credits, including

• EDST 110 Foundations in Education Studies
• One course in each category:
  • Social Contexts and Policy
  • Individuals and Society
• 2 additional Education Studies electives (from either category)

Enrolling in the Education Studies Certificate

• Register for EDST 110 Foundations in Education Studies
• Sign up for the Education Studies Certificate via Yale Hub. This must be done by the last day of add/drop period in their final term of enrollment.
