The Education Studies Scholar Intensive Certificate is ideal for students with extensive curricular, practice, and research interests in education who want to commit a substantial amount of their time at Yale focused on developing a senior capstone project in education. The Scholar Intensive is application-based and capped at a seminar size to facilitate advising and community learning.

Scholar Intensive Certificate Requirements
6 course credits, including
- EDST 110 Foundations in Education Studies
- EDST 261 seminar for new scholars (Sophomore Spring)
- Develop content and methodological expertise through taking one EDST course each in:
- Senior capstone
- EDST 400 (Junior Spring)
- EDST 410 (Senior Fall)
- A Field Experience, completed before or after acceptance into the cohort
